Materials and construction

The frame is rubberwood and plywood with legs in natural wood. Seat filling is polyurethane foam at 26kg/m³ with a 20kg/m³ backrest — the higher seat density is deliberate, since that is where the load goes. In practical terms it means a seat that stays firm rather than collapsing into a dip after a year.

The upholstery is 100% polyester finished to feel like wool. It gives you the texture of a natural fibre with considerably easier care — no specialist cleaning, and it handles daily use better than a genuine wool weave at this price.

How to style it

Beige is the least demanding colour in furniture and this is a deliberately quiet shape, which makes the Denis a genuine problem-solver rather than a statement. It works in a small sitting room, a bedroom, a home office, or a flat where every piece has to earn its footprint.

Delivery and care

Arrives fully assembled. Vacuum on a low setting with a brush attachment. Blot spills immediately rather than rubbing. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent uneven fading. Wipe the wooden legs with a dry or barely damp cloth.
